Albert T. Crowley

Albert Crowley, age 92, of Englewood FL and Manahawkin NJ, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, November 9, 2024.

Born and raised in Staten Island, NY, Albert moved to Somerdale NJ shortly after marrying his life-long love Marie Fleming. They retired to Manahawkin NJ in 1992, where he has lived since. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Using the GI Bill, he received a degree in Electrical Engineering from Pratt Institute. He was hired to work for RCA in Camden, NJ in a program that included attending the University of Pennsylvania where he received a Masters Degree in Engineering. Albert was awarded multiple patents while working at RCA and eventually retired as a Principal Engineer.

Albert enjoyed boating, fishing and all water activities. He was an avid handyman and a skilled auto mechanic. He made great use of his ability in these areas to make any and all repairs to his home and car and was generous in lending these skills to family and friends who needed help of any kind. On the rare Sunday afternoon when he was not working on a project, he enjoyed rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles.

He had a deep love for his family and for life itself. His patience and calm were noteworthy and obvious to anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
