Anthony Francavilla

Anthony A. Francavilla, age 67, of Manahawkin, NJ, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020.

Born in Paterson, NJ, he resided in East Rutherford, NJ, prior to Manahawkin where he lived since 2004. Prior to retirement, he worked as a Fire Fighter for the City of Newark Fire Department, where he served from 1974 to 2002.  In his early years, he served as an EMT in Paterson and Newark. Anthony enjoyed travelling to warm destinations, cooking, and visiting Atlantic City. He was also a volunteer at the annual Shoprite LPGA Tournament, Galloway, NJ.

He is predeceased by his parents, Alfonso G. and Josephine Francavilla (nee Cortese), and his brother, Alfonso A. Francavilla.

Anthony is survived by his wife, Toni Ann Francavilla (nee DeVincentis) his two daughters, Jo-Ann DeGroat and her husband Jerry, and Nicole Eppendorfer, his sister, Patricia Benda and her husband Alan, his five grandchildren; Kyle, Kaitlin, Kiersten, Kurt and Anthony. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
