Arlene Brown

Arlene Josephine Brown (nee Althoff), age 91, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017 with her family by her side.

Born in Jersey City, NJ she lived in Fairlawn prior to Manahawkin where she resided since 1999.

She is predeceased by her husband Thompson Brown, her parents; Albert and Minnie Althoff, her brothers; Buddy and Thomas Nattress, her sisters; Bernice Adherns and Thelma Bell, her sons-in-law; Phil and Henry Sr., her daughter-in-law Ellen Brown, and her grandson Henry Baczewski Jr.

Arlene is survived by her sons; Peter Brown and his wife Pam, Albert Brown, Thompson Brown and his wife Robyn, and Kenneth Brown and his wife Kim, her daughters; Deb Brown, Theresa Baczewski, and Arlene Germano and her husband Sal, her grandchildren; Jennifer, Sal Jr., Danielle, Zoey and Lisa, as well as her faithful companion “Sassie”.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 11am until her funeral service, 12;45pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.  Cremation will be private.
