Betsy Anne Connelly, 82, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Pemberton, NJ.
Betsy was born in Harrisburg, PA and from a young age dreamed big dreams. After high school she married her husband, Jack, and moved to Glen Ridge, NJ, where the couple raised their two daughters. Betsy graduated from Rutgers University-Newark in the 1960s as an adult, studying English literature. Shakespeare was a particular passion of hers.

Working at American Express at the World Financial Center was a defining moment for her. When she retired, she fulfilled her life-long dream of moving to Long Beach Island where she quickly became a part of the social scene.
Betsy is predeceased by her husband, John P. Connelly, her sister Mary Richart, her half-sister Dorie Cressler, and her grandson, Thomas R. Hunter II. Survivors include her brother, Douglas Richart, daughter, Kim Delaney and her husband, Brien; her daughter Katy Connelly and her partner Adrien Vanderlinden, her granddaughter, Jennifer Hunter and her husband Josh Bobrovcan as well as her great-granddaughter, Beatrix, and her grandson Steve Hunter and his wife Maggie Jin.
