Bridget Ragno

Bridget Ann Ragno, died June 4, 2022 at home surrounded by her beloved family.

She was born March 12,1936 in Bronx NY. The daughter of William & Erma (DeVito) O’Mara. Bridget graduated from The Mabel Dean Bacon Vocational H.S. NY as a Cosmetologist, Class of 1954. Following graduation she worked for Asulka Corp. Manhattan NY.  She meet Eugene Ragno in 1952 through a mutual friend & married on February 13,1955 while Eugene was in the service with the U.S. Navy. They initially settled in Astoria NY where she gave birth to her two daughters. In 1962 she fell in love with the town of Waldwick NJ, and built a home to raise their family where they resided for 56 years.
In 2017 Bridget & Gene moved to Manahawkin NJ to enjoy their later years together in a place where they always vacationed.

Bridget was a faithful devoted Catholic who enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, dancing, bowling and ceramics. She was well known as being an excellent chef & baker amongst her family & friends. She welcomed everyone into her home and heart.

Bridget is predeceased by her parents. Surviving in addition to her devoted husband Eugene Ragno, Manahawkin NJ, is her loving daughters, Denise Ragno, Mahwah NJ, and Donna (Brian) Cotter Leland NC, her two granddaughters, Caitlin (Tim) Erickson, Raleigh NC, and Alyssa Cotter, Wilmington NC, her great granddaughter, Oakley Erickson and her lovable dog, Jack.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday, June 8 from 4pm to 8pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home & Cremation Service, LLC, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Thursday, June 9 at St. Mary Of The Pines Church, 100 Bishop Way, Manahawkin, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Manahawkin, NJ.
