Carmella Lesko

Carmella Lesko (nee Zaccarelli), age 96, of Manahawkin, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021.

Born January 11, 1925 in Bayonne, she lived in Roselle, NJ prior to Manahawkin where she resided since 1995.  Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Jan's Bridal, Rahway, NJ as a Wedding Gown Salesperson. She was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church, Barnegat, NJ.

Predeceased by her husband, Edward L. Lesko, her parents, Emanuel and Maria Zaccarelli, and her brother, William Zaccarelli.

She is survived by her three daughters, Camille Chiara, Diane Thompson and Maryann Sainato,  her sister, Mary Doria,  her seven grandchildren, Justin, Nicholas, Dyana, Tyler, James, Vincent & Rosemia, as well as her loving nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 6pm to 9pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ. A funeral service will be held 10:00am on Friday, September 3 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ.
