Cecilia Becker

Cecilia Ann Becker, age 67, of Manahawkin, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin, NJ.
She is predeceased by her parents George and Rosemarie Patrizio and her brother Michael Patrizio. She was born is South Philadelphia and moved to Manahawkin in 1968.  She graduated from Southern Regional High School in 1971 and quickly began her career in caring for others.  This included being a nurses aid, a home health aid, a foster parent, and the pool receptionist at St. Francis.  She continued to inspire and spread love by volunteering her time as a CCD teacher and a Girl Scout leader.
Cecilia was a fighter and never gave up.  For the last decade, she endured a lot of suffering due to her failing body.  She will be forever remembered for her strength and courage to overcome the many obstacles of chronic illness.
Cecilia was a compassionate soul, a soul who granted joy and love to everyone she met. She touched so many hearts along her journey
She is survived by her loving family, including her daughter Dawn Marie Taurgrasso (husband, Mario), her brother Nicholas Patrizio (wife, Linda), her sister Rosanne Delaney, her sister Denise Moon (husband, Steve), and her three grandchildren Morgan, Maxwell, and Lily Ann Taurgrasso, She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Gathering will take place on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 10am until her Mass of Christian Burial, 11am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Brant Beach, NJ.
