Charlene Szaro

Charlene Roberta Sprague Szaro, age 59, of Eagleswood Township, NJ passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022 at home.

Charlene was born October 16, 1962 in Lakewood, NJ. She was a life-time resident of Mayetta, NJ. She is a graduate of Southern Regional High School, class of 1980. He life’s work was a home maker, mom and G-Ma. Later in life, she held numerous custodial positions at Toms River Hospital, Southern Regional High School, and Princeton Plasma Physics Lab.

Charlene is predeceased by her parents, Henry E. and the late Jacqueline (Boyle) Sprague, her son, Lewis A. Cranmer, and her three brothers; Henry E. Sprague Jr., Louis Sprague, and Robert Sprague.

She is survived by her husband, Richard R. Szaro, her two daughters; Tara Cranmer and Charis Amber Cranmer and her partner Jerrell Jenkins, her two sons; Cyrus "CJ" Cranmer and Joseph Cranmer and his partner Barbara Guiendon,  her two sisters; Sharyn Rogers and her husband John, and Jacqueline Jessie Wainwright and her husband Rickie, and one brother, Jason Sprague and his partner Jennifer Stewart, her eight grandchildren, her daughter-in-law, Karen Cranmer, and a numerous number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visiting hours will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 1 PM until her funeral service at 4 PM with Rev. James Occhipinti officiating from Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Cremation will be private.
