Claire Barlotta

Claire Eleanor Barlotta (nee Wenzel), age 90, of Barnegat, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was a resident of South Hackensack, NJ before relocating to Tuckerton, NJ where she lived until 2000. It was then that she moved to Barnegat, NJ.  During her working years, she was an insurance agent/owner operator with her husband of the Barlotta Insurance Agency; first of South Hackensack, NJ and then Tuckerton, NJ. She was a member of the Atlantic Audubon Society-South Jersey, Absecon, NJ.

Claire is predeceased by her husband Sebastian Anthony Barlotta, her son Richard Barlotta, and her daughter Christine Barlotta.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Barlotta, her two daughters; Suzanne Burr and Linda Barlotta, her nine grandchildren; Christian, Stephanie, Lauren, Jenny, Nathan, Nyssa, Sarah, Nicholas and Teagan, her three great grandchildren; Emma, Jace and Owen, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Friday, December 7, 2018 from 11am until her funeral service at 1pm from Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.  Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Beachview Avenue, Manahawkin, NJ.
