Constance DeFuria (Bridge), age 90, of Surf City, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2017.
She was born in Newark, NJ, grew up in Belleville, NJ, and lived most of her married life in Little Falls, NJ which was her primary residence. After retirement, she wintered in Longboat Key, FL and summered in Surf City, NJ. Along with her husband, she was the owner/operator of Freddy Farmers Liquor Store in Little Falls. She was a member of the Forest Hills Field Club, Belleville, NJ. She enjoyed golfing, the beach, spending time with her grandchildren and was a great cook.
Constance is predeceased by her husband, Frederick DeFuria (2000), her brother Donald Bridge and her two sisters; Roberta Takash and Rose Hagen.
She is survived by her son Rick DeFuria and his companion Garry, her two daughters; Judy Aarnes and her husband Rick, Sandra Bargiel and her husband Gary, as well as her six grandchildren; Jeffrey Dinert, Gregory Dinert, Bradley Bargiel, Tamara Hollenback, Blair Grant and Carly Bargiel and three great grandchildren; Parker, Bryce & Hugo.
At the convenience of the family, memorial services will be held privately at a later date.
