Dionysios "Danny" Radiotis

Dionysios “Danny” Radiotis, age 86, of Manahawkin, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at home with his family at his side.

Born February 6, 1938 in Athens, Greece, he emigrated to the United States from Greece at the age of 18 and moved to Brooklyn, NY. Danny also lived in Ship Bottom, NJ and Parsippany, NJ prior to Manahawkin where he resided for the last 22 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam war. His working career started as an accountant and he eventually became the Owner/Operator of a Mobile Gas Station, West Orange, NJ. He dedicated his life to family and his work. He was a very generous person in every sense of the word. He loved the ocean and enjoyed traveling. He embraced his Greek culture and religion. He enjoyed traveling to Greece and visiting many of the Greek islands. 

Danny modeled the values and morals that he believed in. He was well-known for his often-shared words of wisdom, his passion for family, music, dancing, good food, and great wine. He is beloved by all fortunate to know him and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife Colleen Radiotis (nee Rafferty), his son Taki Radiotis and daughter-in-law Ashley Radiotis (nee Hecht), his daughter Irene Cannon (nee Radiotis) and son-in-law Patrick Cannon, his grandsons, Bradley and Joshua Minster, and his grand pups, Louie and Cooper.

A funeral service will be held 10:00am on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
