Donald Cranmer

DONALD JAMES CRANMER, 69, of Manahawkin, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021.

Better known as Brains and the best Pop-Pop in the world!  Native to the Manahawkin area, he was born September 27th, 1951 to Joan (Ennis) and Donald Cranmer. He attended Southern Regional High School.  His happiest times were where he grew up in Beach Haven, NJ where he would surf, clam, ride in boats and also where he helped give Fantasy Island a good start.  He worked as a plumber for Beach Haven Plumbing before becoming a self-employed plumber.  He was a proud member of the Boat Racing Club and an advocate for car racing everywhere.  He loved telling stories about his racing days. A true diehard NASCAR fan, Donny was also a hot rod enthusiast, proudly taking his T-bucket to many car shows where he won many prizes.

He leaves behind his daughters, Melissa (Chris), Tammy and Amy (Todd), his stepchildren John Moro (Dawn), Lisa Miller (Tom), Lori Mahan (Eric), grandchildren, Austin, Jake, Meghan, Jenna, Kylee, Nick, Alicia, DJ, Brooke, Amanda, Emma and Julia, his brother, Kenny (Bonnie) and his long time partner Gail Moro.

Visiting hours will be on Monday, August 16, 2021 from 4pm until his a funeral service, 8pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ.

Cremation will be private.
