Doreen Trento

Doreen (Ondic) Trento passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2016.  She was born in 1946 in Newark, NJ and grew up in Lyndhurst, NJ.

Doreen was a librarian and member of the technology team in NJ public school systems for 24 years.  She was a strong supporter of reading at all ages and was active in her local library system.  She was blessed with a green thumb and was a member of her local garden club.  She had a love of baking, cooking, crafting, sewing, her many pets, and spending time with family.  Her positive outlook, no matter what life brought, was an inspiration to everyone that had the privilege of meeting her.

Doreen was predeceased by her first husband, Al Trento; her dearly beloved mother, Marie Antoinette (Meola) Ondic; her father, George Ondic, Sr.  She is remembered fondly and forever by her many friends and family including: her husband, Caesar Pesarini; her brother, George Ondic, Jr. and wife Patricia; nephew Michael Ondic and wife Yeny; Danielle Ondic; Nicole (Ondic) Watt and husband Thomas; Lisa (Ondic) Evans and husband Mark; grandnephews Thomas Watt and Mason Evans; grandnieces Sarah, Elizabeth, and Emma Watt; step-grandchildren Erin and Andrew Pesarini(and parents John and Lynn; her beloved dog, Rusty; and many others.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Gathering, Friday, April 29, 2016, 10am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Long Beach Twp., NJ, followed by her Memorial Mass at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to your local library or other program in support of childhood literacy.
