Dorothy Horsfield

Dorothy A. Horsfield, age 81, of Manahawkin, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 25, 2018.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, she lived in Jersey City and vacationed in her home on Long Beach Island prior to moving to Manahawkin 20 years ago. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a manager for Verizon in Jersey City, NJ.

She is predeceased by her parents, John Horsfield and Ann Noble, her brother John A. Horsfield, and her sisters; Edith Day, Emma Hopf and Judy Sarro and her life-long partner, Ann M. Walko.

Dorothy is survived by her two brothers; Joseph Horsfield and Charles Noble, her loving godchildren; Tracey McGowan, Robert Day and Tyler McGowan as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 2pm to 5pm with a funeral service, 5pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.  Interment will take place on Thursday, January 3, 2019, 11am at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
