Edward Walsh

Our beautiful son Edward T. Walsh “Eddie” departed from this world and began his new journey after an unexpected and sudden illness took his life on March 4, 2017.

Born in Montclair, New Jersey on May 18, 1983, Eddie was an incredible man of only 33 years of age with a magnetic smile and infectious laugh. In his short time, Eddie saw much of the world, residing in London, Brussels and Connecticut before finally settling in Boston after earning his degree from George Washington University in 2005. For over 10 years, Eddie channeled his talents and vivacious personality into his job as an Account Manager for Oracle.

He is deeply loved by his parents, Pat and Ed Walsh, his twin sister Tricia and his brothers Patrick and Ryan.  He is also survived by his Nana, Betty Behan, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.

Eddie enjoyed cracking jokes and regaling everyone with humorous tales of his encounters. Famous for his spot-on impressions, he was always able to “work a room” with his charm, and his clever wit provided endless original “Eddie-isms” that were then quoted incessantly by his family. Fiercely brave and independent, with an uncommonly sweet and kind heart, he enjoyed "tucking in” to an episode of Seinfeld or Always Sunny, cooking a tasty meal, family card and board games (particularly Pinochle), cheering on the NY Giants and shooting the breeze with friends.

A celebration of Eddie’s life will be held at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050 on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 12:00 pm.  All are invited to attend this wonderful celebration of an extraordinary young man.
