Emily Silla

Emily Silla (nee Mihalick), of Manahawkin, NJ passed away peacefully at home on October 1, 2015 with her family by her side. Born in Newark, NJ, she lived in Union Twp., NJ prior to Manahawkin where she resided since 2000. Mrs. Silla was a teacher in the East Orange, Plainfield and Newark School districts.

She is predeceased by her brother Eugene Mihalick.

Mrs. Silla is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Frank A. Silla, her son Michael J. Silla and his wife Michelle, her daughter Ann Marie Silla, her brother Thomas Mihalick and her granddaughters Crystal and Juliana Silla.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 11am until her funeral service at 12:45pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Entombment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manahawkin.
