Eugene Hoffnagle

Eugene V. Hoffnagle Sr., 77 of Barnegat, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016 with his family by his side.  Born in Jersey City, he lived on Long Beach Island prior to Barnegat where he resided since 2013.  He attended St Aloysius high school, Jersey City. He was an Electrician working for the IBEW, Local #164, Jersey City prior to his retirement. Eugene proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy Reserve and the U.S Army.

Eugene is predeceased by his parents Charles and Helen Witt Hoffnagle and his sister Caren Hoffnagle Stanhope.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Hoffnagle (nee Ollivier), his son; Eugene V. Hoffnagle Jr. and his wife Martha, his granddaughter Chloe Nicole Hoffnagle, his brother Ronald Hoffnagle and his wife Linda, his nephew Erik J. Hoffnagle and his brother-in-law Martin Stanhope.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 2pm to 4pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ  08050.  A Blessing will take place immediately after visiting followed by military honors . Cremation will be held privately.
