Frank Silla

Frank A. Silla, age 75, of Manahawkin, NJ passed away peacefully at home on November 5, 2015 with his family by his side. Born in Newark, NJ, he lived in Union Twp., NJ prior to Manahawkin where he resided since 2000. Mr. Silla, a graduate of Seton Hall University, was a teacher with the East Orange Board of Education. He also proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam war.

He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 46 years Emily F. Mihalick Silla.

Mr. Silla is survived by his son Michael J. Silla and his wife Michelle, his daughter Ann Marie Silla, his sister Mary Ann Mihalick and her husband Douglas and his granddaughters Crystal and Juliana Silla.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from 10am until his funeral service at 12:45pm from Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Entombment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manahawkin.
