Gloria Chiocchi

Gloria Chiocchi (nee Mastrangelo), age 93, of Manahawkin, NJ passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

Born October 1, 1931 in New York, NY, she lived on Long Island, NY and High Point, NC prior to Manahawkin where she resided for the last 18 years. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by EJ Korvettes, Bronx, NY as an Office Clerk. Gloria loved to cook and crochet. She also enjoyed solving cross word puzzles, playing word search, and playing cards and bingo with her friends.

Gloria is predeceased by her parents, Ermanno and Rosalie (Salamone) Mastrangelo, her husband Louis Chiocchi in 1999, her brother Buddy, and her sister Barbara.

She is survived by her daughter Toni Ann Pontillo & her husband Louis, her son Anthony Chiocchi & his significant other Tammy, her brother Sonny Mastrangelo, her grandchildren, Jason & his wife Nicole and Jolie, and her nephew Dester Cuomo & his wife Annette. She is also survived by her many loving cousins, nieces & nephews, and her best friend Emma Caufield.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 12pm to 3pm with a memorial service beginning 2:30pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.
