Harold Hargrove Sr.

Harold T. Hargrove Sr., age 94, of Manahawkin, NJ, formerly of Palm Bay, FL., passed away peacefully on Monday, June 13, 2022.

Born and raised in Mayetta and Staffordville, NJ he lived in Palm Bay, FL for 26 years before returning to Manahawkin where he has resided since November of 2017.  Harold was a carpenter working in union local #2018, Lakehurst, NJ. He was a life-time member of the Stafford Township Fire Company, Manahawkin. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He is predeceased by his wife, Vivian Naomi Hargrove (nee Cramer) in 2018 and his brother Charles Hargrove.

Harold is survived by his two sons; Harold Hargrove Jr. (Lisa), and Scott Hargrove (Leslie), his two daughters; Stephanie Nadeau and Julie Schmidt (Kevin), his ten grandchildren, and his sixteen great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 3pm to 7pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, June 18, 11am, at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
