Helen (Ritter) Procopio

Helen Virginia Procopio passed away peacefully on November 20, 2016 at Southern Ocean Medical Center.

She was a graduate of Bridgeton HS, Class of 1945. Helen enjoyed her years of homemaking and revolved her life around her family. She was a loving, caring person whose vivacious personality endeared her to all that knew her. She was known for her outstanding culinary skills and made every holiday a feast. Her selfless devotion, dedication and generous disposition was an inspiration for us all. She was active in the Brookdale Assisted Living Community and served as the Residents’ Association President.  Helen was a loving and cheerful presence in the lives of her friends and family. She had unwavering faith which helped maintain her positive attitude throughout her life. Helen will be greatly missed, but her love of life and her indomitable will, shall always give us cherished memories.

She was predeceased by her husband, Fred, daughter Peggy Ann, son Michael and grandson Christian.

Helen is survived by her sons, Fred and Debbie, John and Debbie, Tom and Joanne, Gene and Jay.  She is also survived by Eight Grandchildren and Four Great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held, 12PM, Monday, November 28, 2016 at St. Mary of the Pines Church, Manahawkin, NJ.
