Inocencio Duarte

Inocencio Faustino Duarte, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 surrounded by his family.

Born in Vidigueira, Portugal, he lived in Barnegat, NJ prior to Manahawkin, NJ where he resided for the last 7 years. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Duarte worked as a Valet Parking Attendant for Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino, Atlantic City, NJ. In his younger years, he did serve in the military while still living in Portugal. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching television and fishing.

He is survived by his loving wife, Conceicao Duarte (nee Paixao), his son Paulo Duarte and his wife Tracy, his daughter Filomena Jonas and her husband Douglas, his five grandchildren; David Jonas, Danielle Staveckas and her husband Michael, Christina Truhan and her husband AJ, Samantha Jeklinski and her husband Jon, and Paul Joseph Duarte and his significant other Charlotte, and his two great-grandchildren; Charlotte Truhan and Theodore Jeklinski.

A memorial gathering will take place on Sunday, September 6, 2020 from 1pm until his memorial service, 2:45pm at Maxwell Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.
