Jason was born October 12, 1973, in Linden, NJ.  He was raised in Plainfield, NJ. He later moved to Barnegat where he raised his family with his high school sweetheart.  He eventually relocated to Manahawkin where he discovered a talent in mosaics.

Jason was a loving father who was incredibly proud of his two sons.  He was a Tile Contractor whose skill can be seen in many homes on Long Beach Island.  Jason had pure talent when it came to creating mosaics.  He began with abstracts and moved on to show talent in more realistic designs such as animals and landscapes.

Jason entered eternal slumber on January 20, 2017.  He is predeceased by his Grandparents Leonard & June Glover and Frank & Kay Huber.  He is survived by his sons;  Lance Corporal Michael Huber (USMC) and Jason (JJ) Huber, Jr., the mother of his sons, and closest friend, Theresa Kocotos, her husband Pete and their son, Blake, his Parents;  Gayle Nix (nee Glover) and Robert Huber, his sister Heidi Mack and her husband Michael, his brothers;  Scott Huber, Timothy Balascak-Huber  and his Husband Matthew, and Joshua Huber, his nieces;  Shannon, Sarah, and Anna, his nephews;  Jordan and Dru, and his great-nieces;  Kaylee and Emily, as well as many other family members and friends.

There will be a celebration of Life, Love, and Art on March 10, 2017, from 6pm-10pm at the American Legion, 499 N Main St. Barnegat, NJ.  Please join us in celebrating Jason’s life and his legacy.

We know many of you have been asking for a way to help the family during this time.  So, in lieu of flowers, if you wish, you can make any donations to his sons Michael and Jason(JJ) Huber.  You can bring the donations with you to the celebration or contact his brother, Timothy at balascak0073@comcast.net to find out where to send them.
