John Branscomb

John Branscomb, 54, passed away on September 22, 2017 after a battling a long illness. John was born on January 14, 1963 in Essex County, NJ, the son of William (Bud) and Diane Branscomb.

John was a lifelong resident of New Jersey who worked in construction most of his adult life, specializing in bulk heading. He loved to work with his hands, often times helping family and friends with various fix it projects. John, who was a long-time NASCAR race fan, was a generous and giving person. John was the first to offer a hand to anyone who needed it. As a man of integrity, it was important to him to accept people for who they were.

John was predeceased by his wife Kelly Branscomb (nee Hogan), to whom he was married for nearly 21 years. He is survived by his daughter Lauren Caldwell of CA, his brother Buddy Branscomb of West Creek, NJ, nephews Buddy Branscomb, Angel Flores, and Elijah Roberts, nieces Melissa Allen, Jen Branscomb, Rachel Moberg and Rebecca Moberg, many grand nieces and nephews as well as his beloved cat Ralphie.

A life celebration will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 2 pm to 7 pm at the Eagleswood Fire Station 52, 219 Railroad Ave., West Creek, NJ.
