John Grundy Jr.

John Paul Grundy, Jr., also known as Jack, 75, of Manahawkin, NJ, passed away on November 24, 2022.  He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Katherine Grundy (Karen Vanderbeck).  Jack is survived by his loving siblings, Michael Grundy (Kathleen), Maryanne Grundy, Miriam (Kiki) Thielke (John), Paula Blair (Stephen), Elizabeth Renke (David), William Grundy (Barbara), Joseph Grundy (Regina) and Amy Brown (Michael).  He will be greatly missed by his children, John Paul Grundy III, Jeffrey Grundy (Jennifer), William Grundy, and Emily Grundy.  His grandchildren are at a huge loss without him, Patrick Grundy and Megan Grundy.  Jack was born in Paterson. NJ on May 31, 1947.  He graduated from Glen Rock High School in June 1965 and from FIT in 1967.   Jack had a strong love for his family and a deep faith that led him to help others by volunteering with St. Francis Church and the Interfaith Ministry.  A funeral service in Jack's honor will be held Friday, December 2, 2022 at 11 am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 4700 Long Beach Blvd, Brant Beach, NJ.
