June Pruneau Thompson

June Pruneau Thompson, age 87, of Manahawkin, NJ passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023.

Born in Newark, NJ, she lived in Old Bridge, NJ prior to Manahawkin where she resided for the last 23 years. Prior to her retirement, she worked for the Township of Old Bridge Board of Health as the Township Registrar. June enjoyed: quilting, singing in the church choir, baseball, Previous President of the Local Red Hats Society Chapter and greatly cherished spending time with her family.

June is predeceased by her husband William George Thompson in 2014.

She is survived by her three sons; Kevin Pruneau (Camilla), Jeffrey Pruneau (Esmie), and Christopher Pruneau (Tracy), her stepdaughter, Carol Daley (Drew), her Grandchildren; Brittany Pruneau, Tracy Pruneau, Lindsy Pruneau, Matt Pruneau, Cameron Pruneau, Heather Conlin, Christopher Pruneau, Sophia Pruneau, Samuel Pruneau, Aaron (Aimee) Daley, and Hana (Avi) Marcus, and her great-grandchildren; Rayna Marcus, Dean Marcus, Charlie Daley.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm, with a funeral service 8:45pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ  08050.  Interment will take place on Thursday, 11am at Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton, NJ.
