Lamar "Duke" Lange

LaMar “Duke” Lange, age 87, of Manahawkin, passed away with his family by his side on Friday, November 15, 2019.

Born in Sac City, Iowa, he lived in Beach Haven for many years prior to Manahawkin where he resided since 1983. He worked as a Union Carpenter for Ocean County Union local #2018. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He was an avid NASCAR fan. Go number 19!

He is predeceased by his wife, Helen Jane Lange (nee Meyers) in 2018.

LaMar is survived by his two sons; William Lange and his wife Amanda, and Travis Lange, and his 2 grandchildren; Garrett and Hunter Lange. He is also survived by his extended family in Iowa and many friends he met over the years.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, from 4pm to 7pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Friends may gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 20, 10am for the procession to Barnegat Memorial Cemetery, Barnegat, NJ, for his graveside service.
