Lisa E. Jennings

Lisa E. Jennings, age 53, of Barnegat, NJ passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, NJ.

Born October 15, 1970 in Plainfield, NJ, she lived in Sayreville, NJ prior to moving to Barnegat where she resided for the last 25 years. Lisa was a graduate of Cedar Ridge High School in Old Bridge, NJ and Seton Hall University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved taking care of her family.

She is predeceased by her mother, Dawn (Kristofik) Scott.

Lisa is survived by her husband of 25 years, Peter S. Jennings, her daughter, Amanda Jennings, her two sons, Peter S. Jennings Jr. and Stephen Jennings, and her father, George Sponaes. 

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 4pm to 6pm with a blessing service, 5:45pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.
