Lorraine Dlugosz

Lorraine J. Dlugosz, 89 of Manahawkin, NJ, passed away on Feb. 10, 2016. Born in Orange, she lived in South Orange before moving to Manahawkin in 1983. She was a Payroll Manager for Monroe Calculator Co, Orange, NJ. Lorraine was a member of the Old Guard Auxiliary, the Deborah Hospital local chapter, AARP, the American Legion Auxiliary and the TOMAS Club. Her service also included active participation in the Girl Scouts and was a den mother with the Boy Scouts for her children’s troop.

Lorraine is predeceased by her husband Joseph P. and her son David.

She is survived by her sons Joseph Dlugosz Jr., Anthony Dlugosz and his husband Dr. Jason Hott, Eric Dlugosz and his wife Barbara, her daughters Marian Knowles, Adriene Pessel and her husband Peter, her daughter-in-law Jacqueline Vitiello, her Grandchildren Morgan, Brittany, Bridget, Katie, Matthew, Madison, and Maxwell as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ  08050.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 20, 9am at St. Mary of the Pines Church, 100 Bishop Lane, Manahawkin, NJ.  Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Cedar Run, NJ.
