Louise Cervetto

Louise Cervetto, age 72, of Manahawkin.

On May 19, 1943, at what is now the Old Stone Store in Manahawkin, NJ, but was then the residence of her grandparents, the town Dr. Hilliard delivered a tiny baby who fit in a lovely blanketed shoebox. Named Louise, she would bring joy to her parents Daniel and Laura Tortoriello.

Dubbed Teeni all her life, she attended Manahawkin schools, married, and became the mother of two daughters, Terry Cervetto Bayer and Tracy Cervetto Vitale.  Along the way came grandchildren Jackie Bayer Jakubik, Michael Vitale, and Phillip Vitale.

Louise proudly served as president of the Stafford First Aid Squad, coach of Stafford Girls' Softball, and was employed by Shop Rite, Wawa, and Pathmark until her retirement.  Louise resided in Fawn Lakes with her faithful companion and beloved dog, Bella, until her sudden passing on Oct 7, 2015.

Loved and sadly missed by her family named above, her Aunt Olga Tortoriello, her siblings Rosemarie Steadman, LelaArlene Quinn, and Dan Tortoriello, and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 10am until her funeral service at 12pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.  Interment to follow at Reevestown Cemetery, Warren Grove Road, Barnegat Twp., NJ.
