Mary Rose Celeste

Mary Rose Celeste, age 89, of Brick, NJ passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024. 

Born April 1, 1935 in Newark, NJ, she lived in Roseland, NJ prior to Brick where she resided since 1999. Mary loved spending time with her family and adored her grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents, Phillip and Mary (Villaggio) Longo, her husband Angelo E. Celeste in 2010, her daughter Susan Celeste in 2002, her brother Carmen Longo, and her sister Carol Sisto.

Mary is survived by her two sons: Michael Celeste and John Celeste & his wife Terri, her four grandchildren: Jesse, Ty, Luke and Cole, and her many loving nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2024 from 1pm to 4pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30am on Monday, November 11 at St. Mary Of The Pines Church, 100 Bishop Lane, Manahawkin, NJ. Interment will follow at Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
