Michael Charles Calantoni

Michael Charles Calantoni, age 92, of Manahawkin, NJ passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at home.

Born April 18, 1932, in Perth Amboy, NJ, he lived in various areas of Middlesex County, NJ and Barnegat, NJ prior to Manahawkin where he resided for the last 8 years. Michael proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean war from 1951 to 1954. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by McLean Trucking, Freehold, NJ as a Truck Driver.  

Michael is predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Mary Pukiakiewicz Calantoni, his wife, Elizabeth Rose Horvath Calantoni, and his three sisters: Antoinette Murphy, Carolyn Calantoni, and Kathy Calantoni.

He is survived by his daughter, Carol Jean Calantoni, his two sons, Michael D. Calantoni & his life partner Denise Luzacks, and Raymond Calantoni & his wife Karen, his sister, Mary Nelsen, and his two grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Robbins and Daniel Calantoni. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be on Friday, May 10, 2024, from 10am to 12 noon with a time of remembrance at 11:45am at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Interment will be private.
