Mr. Michael M. Revaitis, 72, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin. Michael was born in Elizabeth, NJ and lived in Rahway, settling in Manahawkin in 1990. He was a US Navy Veteran. Mr. Revaitis was the Plant Manager of Atlantic City MUA for 20 years retiring in 2010, prior to that he worked for Rahway Water Works for 18 years as a licensed operator. He was a member of the American Legion, a lifetime member of the Elks, a Moose Lodge member, all of Manahawkin. Michael was a member of the American Chemical Society, American Water Works and won best water in USA for 5 years running and the Meritoris Operator Award for NJ. Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and will be dearly missed by all.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sharyn (nee) DeGroat) Revaitis, two sons, Ron Revaitis and his wife, Ann and Paul Revaitis and his wife, Nicole , four grandchildren Laura, Lily, Ella and Michael. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and a brother, John and a sister, Kathy Travinsky.
Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, August 2, 2018, 10:15 from the Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050, followed by a 11:00 am Funeral Mass at St. Mary of the Pines RC Church, Bishop Way Manahawkin, NJ. Interment Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Road, Toms River, NJ. Visitation on Wednesday, August 1st, 2018 from 4-8pm at the Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehrer-Gibilisco Funeral Home, Rahway, NJ.
