Michael Terefenko

Michael Robert Terefenko, age 79, of Manahawkin, NJ passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Southern Ocean Medical Center of Manahawkin, NJ.

Born on December 26, 1942 in Linden, NJ, Michael lived in Linden prior to Manahawkin where he resided since 1964. Prior to his retirement, he was a Teamster with Union Local #701, Avenel, NJ. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1960 to 1964. He was a member of the Elks, Manahawkin, and The Loyal Order of the Moose, also in Manahawkin.

He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Mildred (nee Meleky) Terefenko, and his two brothers, Joseph & Robert Terefenko.

Michael is survived by his wife, Jackie (nee Peiser) Terefenko , his daughter, Jennifer Terefenko and her husband Shaun Statlend, his son, David Terefenko, his brother, Kenny Terefenko and his wife Debbie, his sister-in-law, Helene Terefenko, and his two grandchildren, Kayla & Marisa. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 1pm until his funeral service and time of remembrance, 3:20pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.
