Nancy Kohler

Nancy L. Kohler (nee Carroll), 84, of Beach Haven, passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by loving family on June 22, 2016.  Born in Philadelphia on July 22, 1931, she attended Little Flower Catholic School for Girls.  Upon graduation she attended the Frankford Hospital School of Nursing and graduated in September of 1952.   She met her husband, Arno O Kohler, and together they moved to Beach Haven in 1958.  Nancy was a nurse for many years for Dr. Ronald Jardine on Long Beach Island.  She then went to work for Southern Ocean County Hospital, retiring after many years of dedicated service.

She is predeceased in death by her loving husband Arno O Kohler in 1977, her sisters Delores Martin and Pat Serman, her brother Raymond Carroll, and her friend and companion George Garrison.

Nancy is survived by her brother William Carroll of Philadelphia Pa, sons Arno and wife Lorraine, of Oceanport NJ, Kevin and wife Dawn, of Beach Haven NJ, grandchildren Courtney, Jennifer, Kelsey, Matthew, and Brian, Sister in Law Caroline Chadwick of Barnegat NJ and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will take place on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 11am until her memorial service, 12:30pm from Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin.
