Patricia Cagnassola

Patricia Cagnassola, 80 of Manahawkin passed away on November 18, 2022.

Patricia was born on December 14, 1941 to Elizabeth (Gregus) and Michael Kelly. She grew up in Kenilworth and graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1960. Throughout her life she worked for various companies as a bookkeeper, putting her phenomenal math skills to good use.

Patricia is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Francis; three children, Jeffrey (Mara Torres) of Coamo, Puerto Rico, Stephen of Washington Township, NJ, and Michelle (Stephen Scarpulla) of Marlton, NJ; her sister Judith of Mays Landing, NJ; along with her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Patricia, also known as Pat, Patty, Mom, Mom-mom, Gram, Tia, and Mom Cags, was known to open her home and heart to the many friends her children would bring home through the years, welcoming all. She was a devoted Catholic with a strong faith. She was an avid reader and a lover of the beach. She loved animals and was a loving "mom" to many dogs and one cat over the years. She was a big fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. She loved to dance and to laugh, and in her younger years could be found tapping her foot and dancing around the kitchen when she cooked. She passed on her faith, her love of the beach and her welcoming nature to all three of her children. She will be deeply missed.
