Manahawkin, NJ — Patricia Haugh, 90, passed away Monday morning, January 20, 2025, at Southern Ocean County Hospital.

Born in Kearny, NJ, and raised in East Rutherford, NJ, Patricia was the eldest child of Charles and Marie Daughton. She attended Queen of Peace High School, in North Arlington, NJ, graduating in 1952, as valedictorian of her class. She is survived by her brother Denis Daughton, of Sangerville, Maine, and is preceded in death by her sister, Sheila Daughton Kinabrew, of Bosque Farms, New Mexico and Gastonia, South Carolina.

Patricia raised five children, including daughters Sandra Curado Dein, Melinda Martinet (Carl), and Gwendolyn Woods (Glenn), and sons Christopher Haugh (Amy), and Charles Haugh (Christine). She was preceded in death by her child, Sandra. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, whom she dearly loved. She was loved by many friends and family in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Florida.

Patricia raised her family, with her husband Dr. James Haugh, DC, in Upper Dublin Township, PA. After thirty years, she moved to Long Beach Island (LBI), New Jersey, the treasured Jersey Shore location where she had taken her family to vacation every summer since 1962. While living on LBI, she worked as a paralegal for the law firm of Shackleton, Hazeltine and Bishop for seventeen years, before retiring at the age of 73. Once retired, she divided her time between Long Beach Island, NJ, and Merritt Island, FL.

A Memorial will take place at a future date.
