Patsy "Pat" Sages

Patsy “Pat” M. Sages, age 90, of Chatham, NJ passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 at his home.

Born April 5, 1931 in Newark, NJ, he lived in Newark, Edison and East Hanover prior to Chatham where he resided for the last 31 years. Prior to his retirement, Pat was a truck driver for Peoples Express, Newark, NJ. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean war.

Pat is predeceased by his parents John and Catherine Sages (nee Padula), his son Patrick M. Sages, his first wife, Dolores Sages (nee D’Angelo), and his grandson Jonathan Barna.

He is survived by his wife Eugenia Sages (nee Colletta) of 37 years, his children, Sharon Roszkowski, John Sages, Nadine Barna McDonald, Nicole Petruzzella, and Gregg Rivera, his two brothers, John "Junior" Sages and his wife Carole, and Ronald Sages and his wife Bernadette, his grandchildren, Patrick "PJ" Sages Jr., Christopher Sages, and  Brittni Sages Biggiani, Krista Roszkowski, Nicholas Roszkowski, Jennifer Barna, Christin Chase, Caitlyn Musico, Francesca Petruzzella, Gabriella Petruzzella, Nicholas Petruzzella, and Taylor Rivera, his great grandchildren, Mia, Timothy, Mackenzie, Isabella, Nolan, Julia, and Rocky, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30am on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 767 Prospect Street, Maplewood, NJ 07040.
