Richard Marchese

Richard A. Marchese, age 89, of Manahawkin, formerly of Newark and Sterling, NJ passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023.

Richard was born July 8, 1933 in Newark, NJ. He lived in Newark, NJ and Sterling NJ prior to moving to Manahawkin where he resided since 2004. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Twin County Grocers, Edison, NJ as a Purchasing Manager. He was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Pines Church, Manahawkin, NJ.

He is predeceased by his parents, Albert & Dorothy Argento Marchese, his wife Marlene A. Megaro Marchese, his brother, Joseph Marchese, and his sister, Rosalind Giordano.

Richard is survived by his two daughters, Mary Marchese, and Ann Sullivan, his son Paul Marchese, his sons-in-law, John Beck and Steven Sullivan, his grandchildren, Ryan & Kayla Sullivan, and his loving nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 2pm to 6pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:30 am on Monday, March 27 at St. Mary of the Pines Church, 100 Bishop Way, Manahawkin, NJ, 08050. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Manahawkin, NJ.
