Robert Scheuerman

Robert Bruce Scheuerman, age 59, of Long Beach Island, NJ, was granted his angel wings on  Sunday, March 21, 2021.

Bob was born May 14, 1961 on the Couhoun Street Bridge between PA and NJ, TO Dr. Walter and Rosemary Scheuerman, and is youngest of 10 children. He attended Grey Nunn Academy, Yardley, PA, Pennsbury High School, class of 1979, Fairless Hills, PA, and Johnson &Wales culinary arts program, Providence, RI. In 1995, he married Cheryl Rutaowski. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a Chef for The Grapevine, Tuckerton, NJ. Bob enjoyed fishing, skiing, hanging with his wife and daughter, and cooking for his family and friends. He loved boating, going to the beach, motorcycles, cars, football and all water activities. He loved music, especially listening to and attending concerts of the Grateful Dead. He loved life and his family!

He had it all and will always be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Bob is predeceased by his parents, Dr. Walter George Scheuermann and Rosemary Anker Scheuerman, and his brothers, Walter and William Scheuerman.

He is survived by his wife Cheryl L. Rutaowski Scheuerman, his daughter Kayla Scheuerman, his 3 brothers, Thomas, Michael and Christopher Scheuerman, his 4 sisters, Patricia Marcanik, Nancy Scheuerman, Carol Keran, and Joanne Scheuerman. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visiting hours will be Sunday, March 28, 2021, from 1pm to 5pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, March 29, 11AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 4700 Long Beach Blvd., Brant Beach, NJ 08008. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Manahawkin.
