Ronald C. Brummer Sr., age 76, of Manahawkin, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 29, 2020.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he lived in Iselin, NJ, prior to Manahawkin where he resided since the age of four. Ron was a banker working for Wachovia Bank in Manahawkin. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also loved sports, especially the New York football Giants, NASCAR racing, and was a huge fan of the Southern Regional High School wrestling team and football team.
He is predeceased by his parents, Philip and Myrtle Graves Brummer, and his five brothers; Albert, Jack, Philip, Donald and Walter Brummer.
Ronald leaves behind his loving wife, Louise DeCicco Brummer, his two sons; Ronald C. Brummer Jr. & his wife Nicole, Michael Brummer & his wife Christina, his three daughters; Joann Hahl & her husband James, Tiffany Green & her partner John, and Nikole Vogel & her partner Andrew, his sister Arlene Parsons, his fourteen grandchildren; Brittany & her fiancée Jake, Joseph, Dana, Kiersten & her fiancée Kevin, Michael Jr., Maddie, Rebecca, Koralynn, Ethan, Breyona, Jason Jr., Krystle, Mike, and Jimmy. He is also survived by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Louis and Pamela DiCicco, his sister-in-law, Janet Brummer, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, November 2, 2020, from 3pm to 7pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, November 3, 11am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manahawkin.
In lieu of flowers, there will be a scholarship set up for the Southern Regional Wrestling team in honor of Ron. Please send all donations to SRSD 105 Cedarbridge Road, Manahawkin, attention Kristie Prescott.
Due to Covid 19 guidelines, the funeral home is operating at restricted capacity. Please note that face masks and social distancing are required at all times for all in attendance of all services.
