Shannon E. Buckley-Pross

Shannon E. Buckley-Pross, age 31, of Manahawkin, NJ passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with melanoma on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at home with her family at her side.   

Born January 26, 1993, in Toms River, NJ, she was a life-time resident of Manahawkin. Shannon was a graduate of Stockton University, earning her bachelor’s degree in finance. She was employed by Wells Fargo Bank, Manahawkin, NJ as a Personal Banker. She was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys. She enjoyed playing tennis and especially spending time with her family and friends.  

Shannon is predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Patrick Loftus.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen W. Pross, her daughter, Olivia Pross, her parents, Louis and Kathy (Loftus) Buckley, her sister, Cassidy Buckley, her three brothers: Sean Buckley, Patrick Buckley and Ryan Buckley & his fiancé Madison Dean, her paternal grandparents, Janice & Gus Koch, her maternal grandmother, Katherine Loftus, her godparents, Mary McBride & Michael Higgins, her many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, and her furry friend Josie.

Visiting hours will be Sunday, May 5, 2024, from 12pm to 4pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Her Mass of Christian burial will be held 12:30 pm on Monday, May 6 at St. Mary Of The Pines Church, 100 Bishop Lane, Manahawkin.  Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Beachview Avenue, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.
