On August 15, 2019, Timothy Kohlheim tragically passed away, loving husband and father of two beautiful girls. Tim was born on November 17, 1982 in Toms River, NJ to Walter and Patricia Kohlheim. Tim was a graduate of Southern Regional High School, Class of 2001 and studied culinary arts in Florida. Timothy married the love of his life Samantha (nee Fritzsche) Kohlheim on October 8, 2011. Together they have been raising two beautiful girls Avalon (5) and Addison (2).
Tim had a passion for food. Together, Tim and Sam owned Shore Fire Grille (SFG) in Manahawkin and Surf City. Whether it was creating a new burger of the month, or creating specials week after week, he always nailed it. Tim also had a passion for helping people and making Manahawkin a better place for the future. Tim had a knack for having an idea and turning it into reality. Tim was able to secure a lease for SFG 2 in Surf City, come up with a plan, and create what we see today in less than two weeks. Tim was 100% a Philadelphia Eagles fan, and when not busy with the many things he was involved in, he would occasionally attend a few games every season. One of his happiest moments (aside from marrying his bride and having two beautiful babies) was when the Eagles won the Super Bowl.
Tim was preceded in death by his father Walter Kohlheim. He is survived by his wife Samantha, daughters Avalon and Addison, mother Patricia Jenkins, sister Jennifer Corcoran and husband Peter, his mother-in-law Anne Skinner, sister-in-law Danielle Stepanak and husband David, brother-in-law Jeremy Fritzsche and wife Marilyn, two uncles on his father's side and 5 aunts and 1 uncle on his mother's side, as well as many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews, and all of his wonderful employees.
A celebration of Tim's life will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 from 11am to 7pm at the Stafford Township Firehouse, 133 Stafford Avenue, Manahawkin, NJ, 08050. Please stop by anytime. All are welcome.
