Vernon Ford

Vernon E. Ford passed away on January 9th, 2020. Vernon was born in Lakewood, NJ and he lived in Manahawkin, NJ for his entire life. He worked as an Electrical Contractor in the area for many years.

He was predeceased by his wife, Alecia Ford [Duncan] and his brother, Bob Powell.

He is survived by his three children; Sonya Banner of Marmora, NJ and her husband Frederick, Greg Ford of Tuckerton, NJ, and Arielle Ford of Long Beach Island, NJ, his two granddaughters; Hanna and Ashley Banner of Marmora, NJ, as well as, his sister, Debbie Edgecomb of Whiting, NJ and Longs SC, and her husband, Gregory, his brother David Powell Sr. of Millville, NJ, and his brother Morris Powell of Manahawkin, NJ and his wife, Jacqueline.

The memorial gathering and service will be held on Saturday, February 1st, 2020 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at United Methodist Church of Tuckerton, 134 N. Green Street, Tuckerton, NJ 08087 (609-296-9610). Interment will be private.
