Victor was a proud and loyal member of Ironworkers Union where he worked at Rabinowitz Iron Workers for thirty years. He and his beloved wife, Marie fell in love at the Jersey shore and raised their family in Point Pleasant, where he enjoyed daily swims in the ocean and staying active. Victor spent his additional years as an usher at St. Peter’s Church and a driver to transport people in need. He enjoyed attending and hosting garage sales and family gatherings, listening to music, and volunteering his time in the community. He had a great love for dogs and was devoted to his Dalmatians; Alexis, Angel, and Loren.
Coming from a strong bloodline of Italians, he was known as a medical marvel. He defied the odds yet again, surviving several near fatal injuries and conditions. He always had a story to share accompanied by a laugh and often a word of advice. At age 89, he signed himself out of the nursing home and proceeded to live independently.
Victor was from the greatest generation and served in the Navy Reserve during the Korean war. He was a first-generation Italian American dedicated to his faith, family, and service. He will be missed dearly by those who loved him.
