Walter Warren Jr.

Walter J. Warren Jr., of Barnegat NJ, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020.

Born in Wildwood, NJ, he lived in Barnegat Light on LBI and Tuckerton, NJ prior to Barnegat where he resided since 1960. He proudly served his country in the US Army National Guard/Army Reserve. Prior to his retirement, Walter worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Sambol Construction Company, Toms River, NJ. He was a member of the NJ Speed Garvey Association and the Barnegat Rifle & Pistol Club. He enjoyed hunting and racing stock cars.

He is predeceased by his parents, Walter J. Warren and Beatrice May Jones Warren.

Walter is survived by his wife, Sylvia A. Warren (nee Morey) his son, Walter J. Warren III, his daughter, Crystal Allegar & her husband Gary, his brother, John F. Warren & his wife Virginia, his four grandchildren; Ryan Mee & his wife Bridgeen, Melissa Allegar, Dana Warren, and David J. Warren, and his two great grandchildren; Logan and Conor Mee.

Visiting hours will be Friday, January 31, 2020, from 11am to 1pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. A graveside service will follow at Barnegat Memorial Cemetery, Barnegat, NJ.
