William Dowd

William Dowd, age 60, of Boynton Beach, FL passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at home in Boynton Beach, FL. 

Born September 12, 1964, in Princeton, NJ, he lived in Beach Haven and Manahawkin NJ prior to Palm Beach County area where he resided for the last 10 years. William was a graduate of Ewing High School, Trenton, NJ, Class of 1982. He was the owner/operator of Bay Village Pizza, Beach Haven, NJ since 1987 and was an avid golfer. 

He is predeceased by his parents, William & Bonnie (Bensel) Dowd.

William is survived by his former spouse Kimberly Dowd, his daughter, Kelly Vecchio & her husband Vincent, his son William Dowd, his sister, Bonnie Smetanka & her husband Robert, his brother Kevin Dowd, his grandson Archer Vecchio, his long-time friend & manager of Bay Village Pizza, Roy Islas Garcia, as well as his nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 2pm to 5pm with a Time of Remembrance, 4:30pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.
